 USA warned India of imposing sanctions!!

5 days ago US secretary of defense came India. This was the first visit of Biden administration to India. USA is not happy with the purchase S-400 missile defence system by India. 

Earlier USA offered F-35  to india to stop India from purchasing Russian weapons. If sanctiones were imposed on India then it would be a set back for Indian economy.

While briefing the media ministry of affair's spokesperson said "India and the US have a comprehensive global strategic partnership. India has a special and privileged strategic partnership with Russia."

What makes S-400 so special that India is ignoring US threat???

The S-400 Triumph air defence system integrates a multifunction radar, autonomous detection and targeting systems, anti-aircraft missile systems, launchers, and command and control centre. It is capable of firing three types of missiles to create a layered defence.

It is believed that it can hit stealth fighter jet. 

Sanctions imposed on Turky 

US already sanctioned Turky for purchasing Russian weapons. Although these sanctions are soft and Turkey will not be affected severely. Turky is also the member of NATO. Thats why US administration will not be tougher on Turky. 

Current government of Turkey is deepening its relation with Russia. Turky has placed several orders to Russia for advance weapons. 

US has thrown Turky from F-35 project. Turky is demanding its amount back from America.
