 ISRO is going to achieve a new milestone in space.

The Indian Space Research Organisation is planning to send a spacecraft to the sun now the sun will be in the hands of ISRO after NASA ISRO is 2nd agency to do so. In 2022 India will send its spacecraft. It will be a great miles stone for  India. Every one is eagerly waiting for this mission.

The 1500 kg spacecraft will carry 7 science payload. The name of the spacecraft will be Aditya L-1.  Its main objective will be to provide information about the sun's atmosphere. It will provide the observation about sun's photosphere ,chromosphere and corona. It will be inserted in a halo orbit around the L-1 point.

Why Sun is so important for scientists?

Sun is the main source of life on earth. In ancient times Sun was considered as a God who gives life. It was so because people knew it very well that without Sun there would be no sign of life sun is also a source of light.

Hypothetically imagine that our Sun has been lost in space. Then what would happen ??Temperature of earth will go down and system of day and night will be abolished. It is very important to not that vitamin D which is very important for our development is the gift of sun. 

Thats why Sun is very important for scientists.
